Highland Invasive Species Forum

Posted on

This year will be having the Highland Invasive Species Forum on Friday the 9th of October at the Lovat Arms Hotel in Beauly.

The usual format will be followed, with local project updates in the morning and then lunch, with afternoon field trips to local sites to look at Japanese Knotweed and Rhododendron control. I have organised scones for morning tea and coffee, so there is no excuse not to attend! There will be tea and coffee available at the end of the day should anyone wish to stick around and chat some more.

The running order for the day will be;

9.30-10am Registration. Tea & Coffee and scones
10-12.30 – Talks etc.
12.30-13.30 – Lunch. Soup and sandwiches.
13.30-16.00 – Field visits.
16.00-16.30 – Tea and Coffee, biscuits and departure

We would encourage you to take the bus or train to Beauly if you can, as for once we are by a public transport hub.

Please could you book with Caroline at HEN, her email is CC’d to this message, so that we know the numbers attending for catering purposes. The event is free.
